Today was the girls’ first field trip in preschool... to the local pumpkin farm. They had a complete blast. It started off learning about all the gourds and then we got on a hay ride that took us around the entire farm. After that, they went to feed animals and then go through the corn maze.
There was a very large tower that has four slides on it. One is a good couple of stories high and I just knew they wouldn’t go on that one. But the first time they went into the tower (and I couldn’t see where they were climbing to), they went on the second highest slide. They wanted to go again so off they went. Their friends, Jasmyn and Jordyn, followed behind them so I became a little concerned after both Jasmyn and Jordyn came out of the 1st and 2nd slide. Maybe about 2 more minutes, I finally see Delilah coming out of the highest slide (they are tunnels so you can’t see them slide down). Then Mikayla followed. I was very impressed especially since Mikayla gets a little intimidated by heights sometimes - but I guess her sister talked her into it!
After going through a Haunted Barn (that was not scary at all), they picked out their pumpkins and we headed to the table to get snacks. Then off we went to Sam’s Club and the store to get stuff for Pine Mountain Lake!!
