Halloween 2009

This year's Halloween was quite easy - Caitlin had two outfits from the girls from previous years and Delilah and Mikayla wanted to be Dalmations so off to the fabric store I went. This year was also the first year going to their school's Harvest festival (since it was their first year in school) and it was a blast. Although, there was a haunted house that Delilah wanted to go into but we steered her away from it for this year.

The girls had a blast and after trick-or-treating, they were visited that night by a candy fairy who took most of their candy but left them with a non-edible treat instead. They liked that!!

Mommy and Daddy Steppin Out

For Michael's birthday, I decided to use money that I would have used to go to do a marathon and get him tickets to some of his favorite country artists - Rascal Flatts and Darius Rucker (formerly known as Hootie!). Finally, he was able to cash in on his birthday present. The drive was long but the concert was so fun and we had great seats. I won't talk about the drive back home. My poor hubby had to do it all alone cause as soon as we got on the 5 to come back to Sac - my head fell down.

Fun at the home show

We headed up to Auburn to ooooh and aaaahh over all the cool things at the home show. The girls love it cause they always give out candy and they also got to make a bird house from Home Depot.
