YEAH!! WE ARE BACK HOME!!

So Thursday, July 26th we packed up the house and left for a hotel for a week. We wanted to go somewhere fun but with Mike starting up school and having interviews this week as well as me having three doctors appointments during one week, we stayed here in Sacramento. We had our carpet ripped out and refinished the hardwood floors under them (except for in the dining room which had the lovely linoleum floor underneath - as shown in the pic below).

Here is a pic of the floor in the living room. The smell wasn't bad at all since they did a water-based finish instead of oil-based. But yuck - the dust was horrible and we cleaned all day yesterday!
During our week away from home, we had to say goodbye to our "sister" Neitra!! She moved back to Texas and her boyfriend, Terris, helped her with the long drive. We will miss her so much. We met her while the girls were in the hospital and had her be Delilah's primary nurse and ever since she became part of our family. Thank goodness for unlimited texting and long-distance!! Here is a pic of Terris and Mikayla. We are sad not to have had more time with Terris but we know he is such an awesome guy and glad that Neitra has a good man!!

Before coming home, we took the girls to the Nimbus Fish Hatchery. In the below pictures, Mikayla and Delilah are sitting in very huge replicas of salmon eggs.

And now, we are back at home and getting ready for Daddy to go back to work on Monday. :-( Mommy starts a weekly shot tomorrow, hydroxyprogesterone. It is to help prevent preterm. The doc says the cervix is looking great so we are all hoping and praying for a long successful pregnancy and that the girls extra weight so early caused their preterm delivery. We know that God is protecting us as we see the miracles everyday as they come and wake us up in the morning!
