We could not complain about the weather this Labor Day weekend - it was GORGEOUS!! In the high 80's! No sweltering heat like in the past. It is supposed to heat up this week but hopefully the girls will be feeling better so they can enjoy the pool for a couple more weeks before it is "closed" till next year.
We had a wonderful family Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, we went to the park and hung out around the house (playing Wii, board games, outside fun). Sunday, after church, we planned on going to the State Fair one more time but as we were driving up, the parking lot was packed and cars were line up out on the street to get in. We decided to pass and go on Monday - the last day of the fair. So we headed to Old Sacramento to Gold Rush days. It was packed there but parking was easy and the girls loved looking at boats along the river.
We arrived at the fair right when they opened and the girls got to ride at least 10 rides before lines even started to form. It was very nice, not crowded at all. When we were finally leaving, around 2 pm, it was becoming more crowded but still not even that bad. We probably would've stayed around longer but Caitlin was getting tired so off to get our free Chick-fil-a sandwich we went! :-)

On Friday night, the girls camped out in the playroom. They actually slept very good!

We watched as a real cannonball was prepared and shot. Very cool for Daddy and I but the girls thought it was too loud.
